Recently finished A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hoosseini. It is one great book, because it made me cry quite a couple of times. Okay fine, that isn't really a good gauge since I cry almost reading every book, but if you haven't read it, you totally should. It's just so sad and it opens your eyes to what life in the middle east is like for women. Thank you Qing for lending me the book and for being so patient and letting me hog on to it for so long! Btw i hope you'll let me hog onto it longer, i need to read it again!
Starting on the other great book that wonderful Khaled Hosseini wrote: The Kite Runner. Watched the movie already, and it was so so so sad. Worth every tear.
Friday. SS test. It went horribly wrong! I hate that i have really really lousy time management. Ah, will not continue on this nightmare.
Then Lit, which was spent talking about Helena and her undying love for Demetrius and yada yada..
Pe was next. Here comes 2.4! Pacing with Rachel, and lagging behind Chantel, that stamina goddess. Anyway, i'm really glad that i went way pass my target! I got less than 1159! Woohoo! So after that i ran one more round with Le, anyway I wasn't really tired and I did promise her. Glad to know I helped you Le :D
The rest of school just went in a blur as all of the performing arts groups already left for Republic Poly. More than half the class was gone.
Then Mrs Tan asked us sarcastically why should we stone in class when we could stone in the library! So we spent chem lesson in the library which was so awesome with the air-con! But Mrs Tan made ALL of us borrow 4 books. And when we told her we wouldn't be able to read because we had no time, she said nevermind, you don't read also can! Still must borrow 4! Well anyway i did borrow Kite Runner and Tuesdays with Morrie which i promised myself long ago that i would read. So thank you mrs tan for forcing us!
Training. It felt good to run another 6 rounds. Felt good to release all that stress. Felt good to shed some calories. Felt really good to sweat. Then Yeo had a talk with the sec threes. Although he was right, he was a major (Female for dog) the whole time.
Met Daph, Sel, Sng at my house and we got ready together. It was pretty funny. Then picked up Munn, Qing and Dionne on the way, picked up Selina's ticket, and we came late! Oh well. But Jubilate was great nonetheless. Lots of chaos and tiny smiles here and there. All the little secrets hah! And it was so cool to see everybody dress up!

The eggs in the bird nest in our chanderlier finally hatched. When i came home today, doing my usual check on the nest while walking up the stairs, I couln't find the eggs. Instead, I saw two baby birds stretching their heads with their beaks wide open and squirming toward the ceiling. I bet they were calling their mother for food.
It feels so warm and fuzzy and tingly to know that you've got a piece of un-modernised nature somewhere so close by and that you can just peek at it whenever you want to. I'm gonna spy at them later when i go down for dinner again :D
Yay! Jubilate is on Friday! (as well as Napfa 2.4 :O) (as well as SS common test :O) Let's just worry about tomorrow's tingxie first. I WILL improve my chinese. I just have to.

Let all the work come crashing down. No I'm not prepared, but i WILL have to be.
Thankfully this week's nightmare is over: The intense and the gruelling process of studying and forcing "nutritious" information into your brain and hoping that it would stay in there long enough for the Bio paper. Thank you, bio paper, for getting me up on my game again. I've lost my way and become really, very complacent. The feeling you get now under tremendous stress is intense and sometimes, the whole process is sadistically fun. I got my first 3 hours of sleep in a very long time. Now this is what i call sadistically fun. Someone please tell me i'm still sane?
Now there is all the tiny, important, and seriously annoying things left to do. First MSND test tmr, A Math Plane Geometry Ungraded test tmr, A Math Coord Geometry ass due tmr,
Not forgetting, "With great power comes great responsibility" quote Uncle Ben. (Oh btw, Uncle Ben is not my uncle, he is Spiderman's Uncle) And now with more responsibility, theres also more work to be done. Friday Fever. Primary SLC. Red House. (Btw i just want to say, Red will own!)
Time to let work come crashing down, well at least more gently.

I didn't think our class could go crazy, I didn't think we could be so bonded, until now.
We've proven that we can also let go and go crazy and high, that we are not just a mugger madhouse.
Yes THREEFAITH we have done it! A rojak class, so diverse and full of different talents yet we are one, all united now, and we will go to battle together, not as individuals with different personalities, but as a class with one cool-ass identity.
With the lipstick-stained faces and that pretty jersey of ours, we totally put up a wonderful performance during campfire. Won't ever forget how cool it was :D
Camp was.. Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! (I dont actually know what this word means, it just sounds like a word big enough to describe how camp was) We had some High-elements and rock climbing on the first day, (would love some water activities) it was really exhilarating and exciting, although i couldn't finish the rock wall. That's disappointing. Well anyways, the hut was interesting.. We found cat poop and a dead bat lying on the floor when we came back and everybody was just freaking out. Apart from that, i would say the hut was really nice. Oh, except that the corners were pretty tiny. Le and I were compacting our bodies and trying out different sleeping positions just so we could fit the small space. "This is the only time I could feel tall" quote Le Tian :D
At night was pretty uncomfortable, inclusive of the extreme heat and humidity, so Le taught me to try to find "inner peace" so that you could feel cooler. It was pretty hilarious as i tried to follow what she was doing, but i still could not get cooler. I guess i wasn't doing it right!
The next day we had some class team challenge games. Lots of cheer shouting and sweat and touching of bodies and clamouring next to each other in the sweltering heat. Kind of gross, but still had to admit it was fun. The class was just awesome. I love you guys.
Then Dry-rafting which was supposedly when we would get wet. (Like real) We were supposed to move around in our own "rafts" as Stockholm and Berlin and had to shoot down the other classes' rafts. It was so competitive! Exciting, but competing with the other classes was kind of barbaric. Didn't enjoy it too much. (Oh and my aiming skills are just horrible. It's a surprise i'm even a netballer)
Bath time! Haha. I don't think i would ever forget how we bathed in the camp. Because of time constraint, Mabel, Cabby (Cadbury), Le and I bathed in the open-concept showers for both days. Don't get me wrong, we were still in the toilets, but just not in the cubicles. Its just that any girl could see you. Hey we still had clothes on so it was't such a big deal :D Everyone saw Le and Cab's bra and Mabel saw my undie. Whoops. Still fun and was definitely and experience ahah!
The highlight of the camp was totally the CAMPFIRE!! Just great i tell you. Everybody and i mean everybody was high. All the performances were great, and wow SN girls sure can dance! Three faith our LOVE STORY was da bomb! Love the Love Story! ("Story" on the class blog) And Jemie you are just amazing. And i had so much fun with you guys screaming and singing with all our hearts, including Instructors Bao Yun and Arson (don't ask me, that's his real name)
It was too bad there wasn't time to get our AYLCers to do one Billy-bungja for old time's sake :(
So then we 4 dudies went to bathe again. So sweaty and yuck. Mabel forgot to bring shorts and Le forgot to bring bra. Haha. All the LOL moments :D
While everybody was sleeping, Le, Cabby, Mabel, Esther and I secretly stayed up and we played charades. Wild boar. (AKA MABELLINE TAN AND HER WILD UNTAME HAIR) Martin Mystery. (Ahem. And i still had to wonder why) Prince Caspian. Stupid Lizard. (And something else i forgot)
Then this black cat was so spooky. It tried to jump up and to go to the other hut. Probably to poop again. So the heroes (US) saved Dilligence! Wooh! Oh sorry for waking you guys up!
Then we played spasm. Mabel you loser :D Fine I was a loser first. But you end up being a better loser muhahah!
Before sleeping, i tried the inner peace thing again. Didn't work.
Last day, area cleaning. Cleaned the men staff toilet. Pretty dirty. Men are dirty. Eek. Okay fine, it wasn't too bad. While it was raining, we managed to see Gen confess her love to miss lim, RongYu catwalk, XinLu saying her fave teacher is ms lim, Mengdi performing a sexy dance, PeiYun giving us 10 bimbo poses, LeTian trying to copy Mengdi's sexy dance. And our class was high. Super damn high :D
Thank you dear Miss Lim for collecting our class tee and bringing it for us. Thank you also for letting us use your lipstick for wild intentions! We really owe you so much.
Thank you Instructors Bao Yun and Arson for giving us such a wonderful time and for also teaching us so much values and getting our class so high and mad. You guys rock!

You know how, recently birds have been flying into my house and building a nest on our chandelier? Yeah well the nest is completed, and tonight we saw the mommy bird resting snugly in the nest, prolly warming or laying the egg/eggs :D How cool is mother nature?

What's been going on: Yay SO! Congrats on your GOLD :D We're all proud of you! Dissection was extremely and sadistically fun! When's the next one?! Somewhat successful/unsuccessful Lg12 meet-up on labour day, but was still fun. Everybody was the same as i remembered, especially Jarren :D Yuting and ykw was so lame at the library today. Sec Three Camp on Wed, Thurs, Fri and i can't wait!
